As it was mentioned earlier, the Islamic Republic of Iran enjoys a coastline of 2,700 Km of which 700Km forms the Caspian Sea coastline and 2000 Km belongs to the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. There exist 11 commercial ports in these areas, 3 in northern and 8 in southern parts of the country. Specifications of these 11 ports are illustrated as the following:

• PORT OF IMAM KHOMEINI

  Warehouses: 287,940 square meters
  The port includes three berths for general cargo and bulk, container, silo for cereal,
  barges, Gulf agency, trans, terminal, and ore with 25, 5, 2, 1, 1, 1, and 1 posts respectively.
